A shocking video has emerged of a young Syrian boy running for his life at a playground in Istanbul, after a grown man jokingly “warned” the toddler of a bomber plane.
The footage shows the boy – reportedly a Syrian refugee – sitting in the playground, when an adult man approaches him directing the child’s attention to the sound of an airplane flying overhead.
Speaking in Arabic, the man tells the boy to hide. The scared toddler started to run, desperately looking for shelter.
While the prankster keeps shouting his “warnings” of the approaching plane, laughter is heard behind the camera.
The boy eventually nestles by a wall, looking worriedly at the sky.
