With just 100 days left for President Obama to close the prison at Guantánamo Bay as he promised when he first took office in 2009, former prisoner Shaker Aamer urges him to stick to his word, and to make sure that he fulfills his promise before he leaves office.

This initiative, launched by the Close Guantánamo campaign in January 2016, was set up to remind President Obama of his promise to close the prison by counting down at 50-day intervals.
