George Galloway: Lutfur Rahman sacking a “shameful decision”

George Galloway MP has called the decision to sack Lutfur Rahman as mayor of Tower Hamlets a “shameful decision.”

In this short interview he says that:

    – Rahman was thrown out of office on spurious grounds.

    – The decision proves that Muslims in this country are treated differently from other groups.

    – It will discourage Muslims from participating in democratic politics.

    – Labour will pay a high price for their role in this affair when Muslims vote on May 7.
