A new online Muslim TV channel which will be targeted at the “global urban Muslim” is due to launch once it has raised around £300,000.

On the channel’s Facebook page it says: “In a world full of negative images about Islam, it’s vital to celebrate the diversity, creativity and vibrant culture produced by Muslims. We have gathered the world’s best TV programmes and films covering a wide and
    authentic expression of Islamic cultures.

“Art, History, Spirituality, Education, Charity, Business, Social Change, Poetry, Architecture, Fashion, Travel, Food, Education and so much more. Transformational content that will entertain and enhance your life.”

The channel is aiming to raise £1m through crowdfunding although it says it will launch once it has raised one third of that amount.
