The American YouTube vlogger Adam Saleh has claimed that Delta Airlines kicked him off a flight because fellow passengers said they felt uncomfortable about him speaking Arabic.
Saleh recorded a video as he was escorted off the aircraft, apparently after fellow passengers complained when he spoke Arabic to his mother on the phone.
As the camera pans across the airplane a number people can be seen and heard sarcastically waving goodbye.
Shortly after the incident the hashtag #BoycottDelta began trending on Twitter.
Delta Airlines has yet to comment.
