ISIS labels Hamas apostates and vows to fight them in Gaza

It's thought that hundreds of Britons could have travelled to join ISIS

A video entitled “A message to our folks in Jerusalem” has been released by ISIS where fighters hailing from Gaza declared Hamas as “apostates” and vowed to fight the Palestinian resistance group.

Abu Qatadah Al-Filistini (Palestinian Abu Qatadah), who is one of the people who came from the Gaza Strip and joined ISIS in Aleppo, expressed profound delight that he is one of the caliphate’s soldiers. He called on all “monotheists in Gaza to join the convoy of the Muhajidin and to join the State of the Caliphate.”

Abu Qatadah accused Hamas of “sliding gradually into apostasy, a slide that started with the demolition of the Ibn Taymiyah Mosque. It is a movement that does not seek to govern according to Shariah but seeks to appease Iran and America, the heads of apostasy.”

Abu Azzam Al-Ghazzawi (the Gazan Abu Azzam) explained that “Jihad in the cause of Allah should not be waged for the liberation of territories but for governing in accordance to Shariah and in order that the Word of Allah hail supreme.”

He accused Hamas of fighting only “for [nationalistic] zealotry, they do not govern according to the Shariah of Allah and teach their soldiers and children to pay homage to the flag, which if I were to find it I would step on it because it only reinforces the Sykes-Picot borders.”

Abu Azzam equated Hamas’s resistance against the Zionist occupation with Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Assad regime in Syria, adding: “Do not be fooled by the rockets they fire against the state of the Jews from time to time. Tyrants have done the same thing including Hezbollah.”

He explained: “The Islamic State has its eyes set on Jerusalem and is getting closer day after day to Al-Aqsa Mosque along the path paved by Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi and Sheikh Osama Bin Laden.”

“A message to the tyrants of Hamas, you are nothing in our reckoning. You, Fatah and all the secularists, we count you as nothing. God willing, we shall uproot the state of the Jews. You are nothing but froth that will be gone as we move in. God willing, Gaza will be governed by Shariah despite you,” he continued.

Abu Qatadah returned to launch an attack on Hamas once more, saying: “What happened in the Yarmouk camp between the state and the Awakenings of Apostasy will happen in Gaza with Hamas. By the Lord of the Kabah, they are the murders of the sheikhs, of the monotheists and of the innocents.”

“Do not be fooled by resonating slogans.”

Abu Aisha Al-Ghazzawi (Abu Aisha from Gaza) said: “Hamas worships the idol of democracy other than God. By God, there are idols that are being worshipped apart from God just as in the time of Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him.”

“By Allah, we shall punish you severely if you persist on this apostasy and disgrace. But if you believe in Allah alone, then you are our beloved ones and our brothers.”

He added: “By Allah, we shall make your young and old weep just as we did very recently to your dogs, the apostates, the hypocrites and the liars, those who grew rotten beards in Yarmouk camp, those who fought against the law of God. By God, we shall do it again and Gaza will see the blood and the dismembered bodies.”

Towards the end of the video and following the invitation made by the Gazan members of ISIS to Hamas to revert to the true Islamic faith, a number of Gazan ISIS members gathered together and renewed their pledge to “to listen and obey” the Caliphate Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.
